Nelson Leafs Hockey Society

Promoting education and citizenship through the sport of hockey.

Objectives:

Pursuing excellence on and off the ice, the Nelson Leafs strive to give educational opportunities to deserving players who contribute, not only to the team on the ice, but to the community off the ice. This is done through citizenship, sportsmanship and community involvement.

Goal:

Providing scholarships for educational and personal growth pursuits.

Criteria

• Must be a carded player as of January 10th
• Applications will be accepted between january 11th and march 1st of each season
• References required
  • instructor in the area’s of attendance, participation, attitude and grades
  • fee schedule or receipt
  • character reference of an unrelated individual
• All areas of educational or personal growth endeavors will be considered
• A cover letter must accompany the application
