Four-goal third period leads Dynamiters to victory
Ty Smith’s first goal 15 seconds into the third period was the eventual winner for the Kimberley Dynamiters in a 6-2 final over the Columbia Valley Rockies. Trystan Self made 24 saves as the Dynamiters won the Eddie Mountain Division in six games. The Dynamiters jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period, then scored four goals, including three in eight minutes, in the third period starting with Smith. Austin Daniels, Jack Karpyshyn and Tyler Russell with an empty-netter scored for the Dynamiters. Colby Phillips and Kayde Kinaschuk, with his 10th, scored for the Rockies. Justin Sommer, Kade Leskosky and Karpyshyn led the Dynamiters with a goal and an assist.
Anklewich, Carmichael scored twice in Leafs win
After a scoreless first period, the Nelson Leafs erased a 3-0 lead by the Beaver Valley Nitehawks to Game 6 and the series, with a 4-3 win. Joel Smyth, Hunter Burgeson and Austin McKenzie scored for the Nitehawks in the opening five minutes of the second period. Bennett Anklewich got the Leafs on the board with his first of two goals, including the winner, while Johnny Carmichael also scored twice. The Leafs closed out the second period with two goals. Anklewich led the Leafs with three points, defenceman Bryce Sookro had two assists and goalie Tenzin Mint made 33 saves. Hayden Stocks led the Nitehawks with two assists and Kevin Engman made 31 saves.
Kasdorf scores twice as Grizzlies defeat Storm
Brandon Kasdorf scored twice, while Brandon Weare made 22 saves for the Revelstoke Grizzlies in a 4-0 win over the Kamloops Storm, winning their series in six games. Ronin Pusch, who assisted on Kasdorf’s second goal, and Carter Bettenson scored in the third period to secure the win for the Grizzlies. Storm goalie Colton Phillips-Watts finished with 26 saves.
Park nets OT winner for Coyotes
With less than a second remaining in the first overtime period, Zachary Park scored for the Osoyoos Coyotes to give them a 2-1 victory against the Summerland Steam, clinching their series in six games. It was the second game-winning goal in the series for Park. Coyotes goalie Kenneth Marquart made 25 saves as he was beat by Jack Lynes midway through the second period to give the Steam a 1-0 lead. Jack Henderson scored the equalizer, beating Ben Lewis, who made 38 saves, with 8:30 remaining in the third period. Lewis faced 17 shots in the third period.

Phillips-Watts a force in Storm win
Colton Phillips-Watts won the goalie battle against Brandon Weare of the Revelstoke Grizzlies, making 48 saves in a 1-0 double overtime win for the Kamloops Storm. Jacob Hufty’s first goal won it for the Storm, who avoided elimination, cutting the Grizzlies lead to 3-2. Weare made 32 saves.
Kinaschuk and Malarchuk lead Rockies to victory
Kayde Kinaschuk helped the Columbia Valley Rockies avoid elimination when he scored the 5-4 OT winner against the Kimberley Dynamiters, cutting their series lead to 3-2. Defenceman Dylan Malarchuk led the Rockies with two goals and two assists, while Reed Sparrow had two assists. The Dynamiters were led by Christian Mealey, who had three goals and an assist. Mealey opened the scoring. Scott Thompson made 34 saves for the win.
Mint leads Leafs to win
Tyler Pisiak and Bennett Anklewich scored to lead the Nelson Leafs to a 2-1 win over the Beaver Valley Nitehawks, giving their team a 3-2 series lead. Ethan Jang opened the scoring for the Nitehawks with his third goal. Pisiak evened the score on the power-play with this fifth. Tenzin Mint made 25 saves for the win.
Marquart and Bester lead Coyotes past Steam
Ryan Bester’s second goal of the playoffs gave the Osoyoos Coyotes a 2-1 win over the Summerland Steam to take a 3-2 series lead. Bester’s winner came late in the third period. The Coyotes trailed the game when Jackson MacDonald scored his fourth goal to give the Summerland Steam a 1-0 lead in the first period. Tegan Neuman tied the game late in the second period. Kennth Marquart made 27 saves for his third win, all against the Steam.

Klassen winners give Dynamiters a 3-1 series lead
Connor Klassen’s second goal of the playoffs gave the Kimberley Dynamiters a 5-4 victory over the Columbia Valley Rockies and a 3-1 series lead. The Dynamiters built a 3-0 lead on goals from Kade Leskosky, his seventh and eighth of the playoffs, and Cam Reid, his first. Austin Daniels had a goal and assist, while Christian Mealey led with two assists and Trystan Self made 40 saves for the win. Kayde Kinaschuk had two goals (eight) and an assist, while Colby Phillips had three assists for the Rockies.
Dominici, Stocks score twice in Nitehawks win
A four-goal second period by the Beaver Valley Nitehawks helped them earn a 5-2 win over the Nelson Leafs and even their series at two. The Leafs had a 2-0 lead after the first period on goals by Rhett Hamilton and Bryce Sookro, then the Nitehawks scored five unanswered en route to victory. Nathan Dominici began the comeback with this fourth and fifth of the playoffs. Hunter Burgeson ripped home the winner, while Hayden Stocks added two, including the fifth and final goal shorthanded. Kevin Engman turned aside all 19 shots he faced after coming in relief of Owen Albers, who made three saves of five shots.
Reinson nets winner for Grizzlies, lead 3-1
Carson Reinson’s third of the playoffs gave the Revelstoke Grizzlies a 2-1 win over the Kamloops Storm, and a 3-1 series lead. Brady Augot opened the scoring in the first for the Grizzlies with his first of the playoffs. Kyle Sanford tied the game at one on the power-play. Brandon Weare made 24 saves for the Grizzlies, while Colton Phillips-Watts also had 24 saves.
McKinley and Park score twice in Coyotes victory
Zachary Park scored twice, including the winner for the Osoyoos Coyotes in a 5-3 victory against the Summerland Steam to even their series at two. The Coyotes had a 3-0 lead on goals by Ethan McKinley, Park and Tyler Badger. Midway through the second period, the Steam chipped away and erased that lead on goals by Grayson Chell with two and Ethan Swift. Park’s winner came just over three minutes after Swift tied the game. Kenneth Marquart picked up his second career playoff win with an 18-save performance. Ben Lewis turned aside 27 shots and collected an assist.

Daniels’ sixth of the playoffs wins game for Dynamiters
Austin Daniels netted the winner for the Kimberley Dynamiters in a 4-3 final against the Columbia Valley Rockies to take a 2-1 series lead. Jayden Kostiuk setup Daniels to give the Dynamiters a 4-2 lead. Kostiuk also scored. Josh Prebushewski led the Dynamiters with two assists, while goalie Trystan Self made 28 saves. Colby Phillips led the Rockies with three points, all assists, while Kayde Kinaschuk and Dylan Malarchuk each had a goal and an assist.
Quast nets three, including winner for Leafs
Ryan Quast scored a hat-trick, including netting the winner for the Nelson Leafs en route to a 8-1 win over the Beaver Valley Nitehawks to take a 2-1 series lead. The Leafs led 5-0 before the Nitehawks got their lone goal by Hunter Burgeson. Liam Noble, Simon Nemethy (two goals) and Bennett Anklewich each had four points for the Leafs. Anklewich assisted on all of Quast’s goals. Tenzin Mint had 33 saves for the win. The Leafs power-play went 3-for-9.
Storm win on empty-netter
Harrison Ewert’s empty-net goal to make it 2-0 for the Kamloops Storm ended up being the winner in a 2-1 final against the Revelstoke Grizzlies. Jameson Rende scored his first goal of the playoffs to give the Storm a 1-0 lead late in the opening period. After Harrison made it 2-0 with 17 seconds remaining in the third, Brandon Kasdorf scored his second of the playoffs five seconds later. Colton Phillips-Watts made 26 saves for the win as the Grizzlies now lead the series 2-1.
Konneke scores three, including winner for Steam
Parker Konneke scored a hat-trick and the winner to lead the Summerland Steam to a 4-3 win against the Osoyoos Coyotes. The Steam now leads the series 2-1. Konneke’s sixth of the playoffs scored late in the second period, sealed the win. Captain Cole Waldbillig led the Steam with two assists, while Ben Lewis made 32 saves. Ethan McKinley scored twice in the second period to erase a 3-1 Steam lead. Jack Henderson finished with two assists for the Coyotes.

Mealey scores twice as Dynamiters win
Christian Mealey scored twice, including the game-winning goal in the first period as the Kimberley Dynamiters defeated the Columbia Valley Rockies 5-2. The victory evens the series at one. Jonah Fournier got the Rockies on the scoreboard with his fourth of the playoffs, but Kasey Miller and Hudson Ketsa added two more for the Dynamiters to secure the win. Trystan Self made 26 saves for the victory, while Scott Thompson made 30 after coming in relief for Grady Nicholas, who allowed three goals on six shots.
Nitehawks captain leads team to victory
The Beaver Valley Nitehawks were led by their captain Brennan Wilson, who scored twice on the power-play, including popping the game-winner in the third period, in a 5-3 win over the Nelson Leafs. The series is even at one. After a scoreless first period, the Leafs built a 2-0 lead on goals by Johnny Carmichael and Rhett Hamilton. The Nitehawks then scored four straight to secure the win. Austin McKenzie’s fifth of the playoffs was the insurance marker. Owen Albers made 15 saves on 17 shots after relieving Kevin Engman, who turned aside four of five shots.
Kuhnlein’s two points helps Grizzlies win
Bennett Kuhnlein netted the winner on the power-play for the Revelstoke Grizzlies against the Kamloops Storm in a 2-1 final. The victory gives the defending KIJHL and Cyclone Taylor Cup champs a 2-0 series lead heading to Kamloops. After Kyle Sanford gave the Storm a 1-0 lead in the first with his third of the playoffs on the power-play, the Grizzlies scored twice in the second period, the first from Kaleb West. Kuhnlein led the Grizzlies with two points. Brandon Weare made 26 saves for the win, while Colton Phillips-Watts made 41 saves on 43 shots.
McIsaac plays OT hero for Steam
The Summerland Steam gave up the opening goal to the Osoyoos Coyotes’ Jack Henderson, but they scored the deciding goal in overtime, a 6-5 win thanks to Nate McIsaac. The Coyotes made the Steam earn the victory as they erased a 4-2 deficit to take a 5-4 lead. Grayson Chell tied the game at five with his first of the playoffs. Both teams scored twice on the power play. Tristan Weill and Jackson MacDonald each had a goal and two assists, while captain Cole Waldbillig led the Steam with two assists. Colton Macaulay made 34 saves for the win. Henderson led the Coyotes with two goals and two assists, while Payton McDonald-Corea had three assists for the Coyotes and Alex Ochitwa had a goal and two assists. Their series is tied at one.

Rockies win opening game
Kayde Kinaschuk’s fifth goal of the playoffs won the game for the Columbia Valley Rockies, 2-1 over the Kimberley Dynamiters. Grady Nicholas made 26 saves, including 14 in the third period. Nolan Palmer opened the scoring for the Rockies with his first of the playoffs. Austin Daniels’ fifth of the playoffs on the power-play was the lone Dynamiters goal.
Grizzlies score a pair in third to defeat Storm
Trailing 2-1 in the third period, the Revelstoke Grizzlies got goals by Luke Aston and Owen Chamberland to defeat the Kamloops Storm 3-2. Chamberland’s goal was his fifth of the playoffs, while Will McPhee opened the scoring for the Grizzlies on the power-play. The Grizzlies went 2-for-5 on the man advantage. Peyton Kelly and Cole Senum scored for the Storm. Brandon Weare made 28 saves for the Grizzlies, while Colton Phillips-Watts finished with 38 saves.
Man-advantage powers Leafs past Nitehawks
After taking a 3-0 lead, the Nelson Leafs were able to defeat the Beaver Valley Nitehawks 5-3. Simon Nemethy’s second goal of the playoffs, on the power-play, proved to be the eventual winner. Rhett Hamilton led the Leafs with a goal and two assists, while Tenzin Mint made 32 saves. Nathan Dominici, Hunter Burgeson and Jesse Ihas scored for the Nitehawks. The Leafs scored twice on the power-play.

The Osoyoos Coyotes erased a 3-0 deficit, starting late in the second period to win 4-3 in overtime. Zachary Park potted the OT winner late in the period. Alex Ochitwa led the Coyotes with two goals, including their first to spark the comeback. Kenneth Marquart replaced Kenny Gerow and stopped all 11 shots he faced. Scoring for the Steam were Tristan Weill, Austin Cameron and Zach Evanoff, short-handed all in the second period.
