The Nelson Leafs are proud to announce the signing of 2004 born goaltender Jasper Tait to the
roster for the 2022/2023 season.
Tait, from Prince George, BC, will join the Leafs from the Okanagan Hockey Academy U18 Prep
team. At the conclusion of last season, Tait registered a 3.40 goals against average along with a
.907 save percentage. Tait was responsible for a 5 of his teams wins last season. Tait has back to
back shutouts in his 2 starts thus far in the pre-season.
“Jasper is a very technically sound goalie, “Says Head Coach Adam DiBella, “He likes to be
square to the shooter and in front of pucks. Jasper is very calm and quiet in the net. We are
very excited to have Jasper with us this season.”
The Leafs are proud to have Jasper and his family be a part of the Leafs Organization for this
season.
