The Nelson Leafs are happy to announce that the team will continue partnership with Nelson
Sport Lab. Nelson Sport Lab operates in Saint Performance & Fitness gym at 509 Vernon Street.
Nelson Sport Lab is owned and operated by Arthur Andrews (CAT-C, CSCS) and Joey St.Onge.
Originally from Castlegar, BC, Arthur has worked with the team for the past 3-seasons.
“We are very fortunate to have someone like Arthur who is so dedicated to the betterment of
our players. Not only in terms of gaining strength and conditioning but in regards to mobility,
injury prevention and kinetic awareness,” Says Head Coach Adam DiBella, “Arthur was a driving
factor to our post season success last season keeping the players as fresh as possible while
playing 24 games in 38 days.”
The Leafs place a strong emphasis on commitment to player health and performance
throughout the season. Doing the teams clinical treatments and rehabilitation, in-season
training, and continuing education at The Lab allows us to truly integrate within the team and
keep players on the ice. Sports are faster, and more demanding than ever. Our goal is to
provide the modern athlete with the same experience, facilities, equipment, and teaching
found in professional sports.
