The Leafs are proud to announce the signing of 2005 born forward Owen Ditzel to the roster for
the 2022/2023 season.
Ditzel, from Nelson, BC, will join the Leafs after spending last season with the Okanagan
Rockets U18 AAA. Ditzel accumulated 10 points, 4 of them goals in 32 games with Rockets.
Ditzel had his first taste of junior hockey last season as the left winger played 2 games with the
North Okanagan Knights and 1 game with the Alberni Valley of the BCHL as an affiliate player.
“Owen is a player with big upside,” Says Head Coach Adam DiBella, “He is a feisty player who is
tough to play against. With his work ethic, our coaching staff is excited to see him develop
throughout the season.”
The Leafs are excited to have Owen and his family be a part of the Leafs Organization for the
upcoming season.
