The Nelson Leafs are proud to announce the signing of 2004 born forward Jason Scott to the
roster for the 2022/2023 season.
Scott, from North Vancouver, BC, joins the leafs after spending the last 2 seasons at the
Okanagan Hockey Academy in Penticton, BC. Last season, with the U18 Prep Team, Scott
scored 8 times and added 10 helpers in a total of 36 games. On the Leafs, Scott will be joining 2
former teammates of his, Drake Proctor and Seamus Boyd. During the 2019/2020 season Scott,
Boyd, and Proctor played together for the Vancouver NW Hawks U16 AAA.
“Jason is a big bodied power forward with big upside, “says Head Coach Adam DiBella, “I think
as the season progresses we are going to see Jason blossom into a physical force. He has
great hands around the net and can play anywhere in the lineup.”
The Leafs are excited to welcome Jason and his family to the Leafs Organization for the next
season and we look forward to seeing him in our colours.
